How To Reserve A Seat

When you purchase a full-fare Martz bus ticket (either on-line or in person) you receive an "open ticket". This means the ticket is payment for any schedule, any date and departure time while the ticket is valid. Seat reservation policies vary see below:

Traveling from Wilkes-Barre or Scranton to New York Port Authority - Please call ahead to receive a seat number. Pre-purchase is not required on line runs. Wilkes Barre Customers call 570 821 3800, Scranton Customers call 570 342 0166.

Traveling from Mt Pocono and Delaware Water Gap to NYC, seats are on a first come/first serve basis. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.

NY Shoppers Special (all locations) – you must first purchase tickets to receive a seat on this special fare bus. Please stop by your nearest Martz Agency or click Purchase Internet Ticket (left) to purchase tickets on line.

Traveling from NY Port Authority to PA - Reservation cards are available on select schedules. Sorry, seats cannot be reserved by phone. Visit a TRAILWAYS Agent on the main level of NY Port Authority. Reservation cards entitle the holder to priority boarding on that schedule. You will not receive a specific seat assignment. Please be in the reservation line at the assigned gate early, 30 minutes is recommended. Reservation cards are considered null/void 10 minutes prior to the scheduled bus departure.

From Wilkes Barre, Scranton and Pocono McDonalds Exit 95 to Atlantic City - you must first purchase tickets to receive a seat on this special fare bus. Please stop by your nearest Martz Agency or click Purchase Internet Ticket (left) to purchase tickets on line.

From Wilkes-Barre, Scranton and Pocono McDonalds Exit 95 to Philadelphia and King of Prussia - please call ahead to receive a seat number. Pre-purchase is not required. Wilkes Barre and Exit 95 Customers call 570 821 3800 or 800-233-8604, press 0. Scranton Customers call 570 342 0166.

McDonalds Exit 95 Passengers: When calling to reserve your seat make sure you inform the Ticket Agent that you are boarding at Exit 95 to insure this stop is scheduled. The stop may be by-passed if there are no reservations for this location.

Traveling from Philadelphia and King of Prussia to Wilkes Barre, Scranton & Exit 95 – seats are on a first come/first service basis. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.
